Our own software


Highbiza uses custom software in addition to standard software. To test this software, we use test robots (Jenkins). For example, this test robot verifies whether all building blocks still work well together. This ensures that this software remains up-to-date and that security is guaranteed.

Highbiza performs daily backups of all data to ensure the safety of information. These backups are intended to be used in case of emergencies, allowing us to restore data if necessary. Stability


To ensure the stability of your webshop, we check it on three components.

  1. First, we check its functionality; does it work? For this, we use the aforementioned test robot Jenkins.
  2. Secondly, we perform the screenshot test. We carry out this test to ensure that the appearance of the site has not undergone any visual changes compared to the previous day. A software update can cause the site to be misaligned.
  3. Finally, we perform the security test to check for security issues reported in the software versions we use.

Firewall

Each webshop (website) is equipped with a firewall. This is a protected barrier between the server and other computers with which it is connected. You can compare it to a fence around a house. Highbiza can identify malicious actors and deny access, minimizing DDoS attacks and brute-force attacks.

Lock

Every website must have an SSL certificate. You can recognize it by the (green) lock in the address bar. The 'lock' ensures that data is encrypted. This way, no one can retrieve data from page visitors. Safe and sound.

I am the real deal

To enhance the security of your account, Highbiza offers two-factor authentication (2FA). With 2FA, you will be asked to prove your identity twice. When you log in, you will first enter your username and password. Then, you will receive a text message containing a code. You will use that code to log in. Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security that helps protect online access to sensitive information.

Password

Admin1, the name of your son, the date of the company's founding: all examples of obvious passwords. Nice and easy. But because it's so easy, hackers can quickly figure them out. Not safe. At Highbiza, passwords must comply with rules that make it difficult to guess the password.

We recommend using a different password for each account. And you should change the password regularly.
